Dr. Smith has decades of experience as an orthodontist. He was a collegiate scholarship athlete and received his dental degree (DDS) at Emory University. After completing orthodontic training at Boston University, he returned home to Atlanta to practice. He moved to Savannah to retire, but as a sleep apnea patient himself, he returned to practice in 2011 when he began treating obstructive sleep apnea, bruxism, craniofacial pain, TMJ and tongue ties. He holds Diplomate status in Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM; is a Fellow in Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine; and is certified in child & adult tethered tissues; Advanced Lightwire Functional (ALF) appliance, and a Certified Provider of Healthy Start/MyoMunchie, (i.e., a pediatric focus on healthy airways in addition to beautiful smiles). He is married to Dr. Cynthia Hucks-Smith & they have four children. Dr. Smith has over 1600 hours of specialty training in these specialties since 2011. He is a member of American Association of Orthodontists, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, North American Association of Facial Orthotropics, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.​

Born in Atlanta, Dr Jackson graduated from Armstrong State University with a B.S., Radiologic Sciences, Nuclear Medicine and has post-graduate work in Chemistry. While an undergrad student, he was allowed to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry's 48-hour class "Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders & Craniofacial Pain for Adults & Children -A System for DX and TX Mini-Residency" with Dr. Smith and other dentists in 2016 presented by Steven Olmos, DDS.
He has been working with us since 2013. He has learned front office and clinical skills and is our IT/Networking staff member for emergencies. With a B.S in Radiologic Science, he is responsible for our Cone Beam Computed Tomography accreditation. He attended New York University College of Dentistry, Class of 2022, to become a dentist with specialisation in Dental Sleep Medicine and craniofacial pain. Since graduation, he has joined our practice full-time and completed a Master's cert in Laser Dentistry; became a Diplomate in Dental Sleep Medicine (ASBA & ABDSM) and enrolled in a Master's of Science degree program in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine at the Herman Ostrow College of Dentistry, Uni of S. Cali, Los Angeles, CA. 
When not working in the field of dentistry and sleep med, Dr Jackson works in facial aesthetics for his business, The Smile and Face Company. He is married to Harshini Vasu Smith. In his free time, Dr Jackson enjoys playing tennis and travelling with his wife and their dog, Kensington. Dr Jackson is multilingual, speaking fluent English, French and some Spanish.

Dr. Cynthia has a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi;  a Masters from the University of South Carolina; and a B.S. in Elementary & E. Childhood Ed. From Coastal Carolina University where she was a MVP college athlete in tennis. She has worked as a consultant in a wide variety of arenas, from teaching to government to hospitals to corporations to expand her knowledge base of concentrations within psychology that she found interesting. While in private practice, she founded a nonprofit to provide services and designed a mental health department model for Fulton County Juvenile Court which was awarded a National Award of Excellence. When Dr. Smith’s sleep apnea treatment resulted in the need for more than part-time work, her 20 years of experience in medicine pulled her back to run this specialty practice. She currently works as the Practice Manager overseeing daily operation, ensuring patients receive quality care from referral to recall, and seeking accreditation for our practice and our radiology services to add quality assurance to our practice. To keep in touch with her field, she provides consultations in the areas of Sports Psychology and concurrent treatment of Sleep Disordered Breathing and PTSD. Both specialties overlap in the application of psychophysiology based interventions (e.g., arousal reduction, breath training and biofeedback).  In her free time, she enjoys tennis, helping others, and having fun with family and friends.

Tan received his Bachelor of Science with the major in Accounting at George Mason University in Virginia. He decided to move and stay in Savannah, Georgia, because of its peacefulness, southern hospitality and friendliness. He is a funny, friendly and responsible person. Outside the office, he enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife and their son. Tan is bilingual, speaking fluent Vietnamese and English. 

Mary was born and raised here in Savannah, GA. In 2014, Mary did one of her two externships with Dr. Smith’s office and was immediately hired after graduation because of her caring nature with patients and her intense interest in dental sleep medicine. She is married to Brian and the proud mother of two beautiful little girls, London and Harper.

Born and raised in Bangalore, India, Harshini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a Master of Fine Arts in Design for Sustainability from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she graduated summa cum laude in June 2023.

During her graduate studies, she met Dr. Jackson and played a key role in helping him establish his facial aesthetics practice. Following graduation, Harshini worked at SCAD as a Student Success Advisor for a year before deciding to join the practice full-time, bringing her creative background and strategic design perspective to the business. She is currently working with Dr. Jackson to spearhead their new brand of skincare products, combining her passion for design and sustainability with his medical expertise.

Harshini and Dr. Jackson married in December 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, training in calisthenics and strength, cooking, and traveling with her husband and their dog. Harshini is multilingual, speaking fluent English, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
